The Clean Coasts programme works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways, coastline, seas, ocean and marine life. Ollie O’Flaherty will be speaking about the seashore and the wonderful wildlife that lives there. Ollie will assist children in carrying out a micro-plastic analysis on the White Strand to raise awareness of the plastic pollution on our shores and beaches. Children will also be told about the different types of litter that end up in the ocean and our beaches, and how children can do their bit to keep it a litter free zone.
