A lunchtime talk with renowned Connemara Archaeologist Michael Gibbons. Michael is a member of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland with 40 years of experience as an archaeologist. Michael was appointed as Co-Director of the National Sites and Monuments Record, Office of Public Works for a period of ten years. He has also directed surveys on Croagh Patrick and other pilgrimage landscapes including the Skellig Michael World Heritage Site as well as mapping the uplands, intertidal areas, and islands of the Connacht Coast.
